MEET MVPS MEMBER DEBBIE
Hey, I'm Debbie!
Hello CJCLife Family! My name is Debbie, and I have the honor of serving as the Events, Next Steps, and Hospitality Leader, as well as helping oversee CJCLife Kidz and leading our women’s Bold group. About 20 years ago, I walked into a church for an event, and a seed was planted in me through the word of God that changed my life forever. That seed grew into a mustard seed of faith, allowing me to surrender my life to Jesus Christ. He redirected me from a life in darkness into His marvelous light.
In Matthew 5:14, 16, Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” This perfectly describes who we are at CJCLife—a church set on a hill in Leon Valley, called to be a light not only for our city but for the nations. I am forever grateful to be part of what Jesus is doing here at CJCLife—changing lives, saving souls, and leading people out of darkness into His marvelous light. What we do here is eternal!

MEET MVPs MEMBER RICHARD AND GRACE
Hey, We Are Richard's
Richard encountered Jesus at the age of five during an evangelical crusade in Chennai, where he had a vision of Jesus walking toward him. At the same time, he was baptized with the Holy Spirit and later took water baptism at 17. Growing up, he supported his father, an evangelist, and developed a passion for media ministry by assisting with crusades and prayer meetings. Grace, on the other hand, came to know the Lord personally at 19, realizing there was more to God than Sunday services. She accepted Jesus as her Savior during a college prayer cell and experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit in 2012, later taking water baptism at CJCLife in 2015. Both Richard and Grace share a deep commitment to advancing God’s Kingdom.
The couple met while pursuing their engineering degrees and married in 2009. Their professional IT careers brought them to the U.S., where they began serving in Indian fellowships and later joined CJCLife. Richard serves on the Production team, utilizing his skills as a Sound Engineer, Live Stream Director, and Lights Organizer, while also working as a Senior Project Manager at HCL America Inc. Grace joined him on the Production team in 2014 and has also served as a Life Group Coordinator and Serve Day organizer. Since 2014, they have faithfully supported CJCLife’s vision through their gifts in media and production, helping build God’s Kingdom and serve their community.

Hey, I'm Ven Mallina (Praveen)
Hello CJCLife Family! I have the privilege and honor of serving as a Team Assimilator at our church. It’s truly amazing to reflect on how God has worked in my life, especially when I think back to the day I walked into church with my wife for an Easter service. Be careful what you ask God for, because He just might make it happen! I am deeply devoted to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with a passion for leadership and serving others. I believe in leading by example and using my gifts to uplift and encourage others on their spiritual journey. I am incredibly excited to be part of the MVPs Team and to serve alongside my fellow leaders and this wonderful congregation.

Hey, I'm Edward Ross!
I have been a follower of Jesus Christ for more than 40 plus years. My greatest joy as a Christian is and has been to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. My greatest gift is serve the people of God. Over the years of dedicated prayer and study of the word of God, l have been blessed with knowledge, insight and wisdom to understand much scripture. I am a firm believer that when we give ourselves diligently to the things of God, He will reveal the hidden truths of His Word. To God be the glory for all He has done in our lives.

Hey, I'm Franklin Stephen!
Hello CJCLife Family! My name is Franklin, and I have the privilege of serving on the CJCLife Serve Team. Serving isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am, because Jesus first served us. His love and sacrifice on the cross changed my life, and it’s my greatest joy to reflect that love through serving His church.
From the moment I arrived in San Antonio nearly 10 years ago, CJCLife has been my home. This church has not only shaped my faith but has given me the opportunity to live out the gospel in action. Jesus said, “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many”
(Matthew 20:28). I believe that when we serve, we are walking in the very footsteps of Christ—creating a place where people can encounter His presence, experience His love, and be transformed by His grace. As we serve together, we are not just setting up chairs or handling logistics—we are preparing the way for souls to be saved, hearts to be healed, and lives to be changed by the power of the gospel. What we do is eternal. Let’s continue to serve with passion, love with purpose, and make an impact that glorifies Jesus!
